This is a question that, at least from my reading, I don't see directly addressed in the first post. If I'm flying, to make something up, SFO-LAX-DFW, I clearly have 4 hours to make a connection as this is a domestic connection. What if I was flying NRT-LAX-DFW? I'm guessing this would count as an international connection (I'm experienced with paid fare rules and know this would count as an international connection there), but the first post, plus your response in this most recent post (and likely this is due to the ambiguity on the original AA website that the excerpt in question is taken from) does not seem to address this directly. What if I was flying, say, FRA-TXL-MUC (all flights solely within Germany for those not familiar off top of head with airport codes) on AB? Is my TXL connection an international or domestic connection? I believe I know the answers personally, but am not 100% certain and would prefer that a more certain answer be added to the first post if possible.
