My wife had the exact same issue as jada. For people who have not gone through this it is hard to understand that this could have happened without any legit cause but that is indeed what happened to my wife last year in March 2012. And we subsequently learned through various forums we were not alone. She has excellent credit, has OCD in terms of paying off her cards 2-3 times a month. She had three cards with Chase - 2 personal and 1 business and one day they simply closed off her accounts without even talking to her. At first when we called they said we would get a notice. The notice stated the relationship had been placed as derogatory/delinquent. I now have 1) Chase Sapphire Preferred 2) United MileagePlus Explorer Card and 3)Chase Freedom, with about 30k total credit limit.

Maybe they have a time limit, or changed their policy at some point, but I can say that they don't have a blanket lifetime ban.
Is there anything you did to get reinstated. Did you call the CEOs office or talk again at the executive line?

Also - if I recall correctly, I did not say a person will be banned for life. I simply said the relationship ends permanently.
garykung you earlier mentioned the CEO office and reporting to the agencies. Could you share the number of the CEO office or did you send them an email. Similarly with the agencies, do you file a written dispute or call to talk to them.
