How bad do you think they screwed the paint supplier for? Cara wrote off $15M for money owed them when AC went into bankruptcy protection on April 1/2003.

Sure there's benefit of running an A318/319/320/321 combo in order to maximize the number of seats filled on each plane. However, this requires numerous planes to be sitting around for it to be successful. And hey - this costs money! Its a shame that Judge Winkler wasn't also an Operations Management expert telling them how to (correctly) do it.

I think the big savings on using a A318-A321 fleet is one pilot qualification for all, common parts and maintenance etc, etc.
Hey, what do they need Judge Winkler for, they have RM, an operational expert! Just ask him!
