Can you do three in Jakarta and three days on Bali or Lombok? You can usually get sub 150 USD round trips on Air Asia to Bali. If that isn't what you want, then I would agree, Bandung is your best bet. Take the train, actually a nice trip. Just remember, you are coming during rainy season. We've been lucky lately, been pretty nice, but as all things Indo, very unpredictable.
