Yes it's the low season and it's around 30km away from Khao Lak centre on a small island opposite the regional town of Takua Pa but at rates starting at about £6 pn inc bft in one of the better pool access villa's it represents fair value.

Book on Travelrepublic for best rates but non refundable. Otel.com has rates from £7-£8 prepaid but refundable up until 14 days before arrival.

Zleepinghotels.co.uk also appear to have rooms available with no prepayment and cancellation up until 14 days before arrival. They are new to me and seem to be based out of Lichtenstein of all places.
