Sorry to go a little off-topic here but I didn't think this question was worthy of a new thread for what seems like a very basic question.

I have a family vacation coming up at a Hilton booked on points for 6 nights. I'm a little worried about the quality of the property (more specifically, not sure if my wife will like it) so I've also booked a DT as a backup for the last 3 nights. I assume if we do check out of the H early we will not be entitled to a refund of the points for the unused nights, correct?
