I'm not sure LH does "brilliant crews"! (That's not quite true, I've had exactly one brilliant LH crew out of God-knows-how-many-sectors)
Apart from that most my LH experiences have been the OK but nowt special rating.
"Nowt special" sums up my LH experience fairly well - predictably OK. I don't mind this at all.
For an F seat to self-destruct mid-flight
and then be attacked by the Purser with a crowbar, ending with a downgrade to J (half way through a 13h night flight), I fly BA
