I found this hotel while doing research for an upcoming trip and as an Ascend Collection property thought it was a pretty good value if not in an ideal location but wondered whether anyone had been and could offer some insights.

It's is my first visit to the city and I do have a hold on a 3 night stay at the Gibson and then am moving to another more central hotel as I was only able to book that one for 3 nights at a special rate.

The reviews of the Gibson seem very positive and like that I would collect some points for my stay and don't mind riding the rail for a short hop to the downtown core as the rate of EUR100/night seemed too good to pass up.

Curious to hear if anyone has been.
