I just got a call a voicemail in the room from a manager apologizing for the wait and the crowd in the lounge this morning. Weird has it happened right after I posted on here ... Maybe they are monitoring this thread but the call and apology was appreciated.
Also, lounge is closed on Thanksgiving and hotel is offering 1,000 points instead of breakfast. Restaurant is fully booked and not accepting walks in either as it is on the parade route. Having Thanksgiving brunch buffet at the Ritz Carlton Battery Park in the afternoon so won't hurt to get a very light breakfast that day.
