This is an well-known blip because when BA coded the flights which were sleeper services in their website the same flight departed much earlier than it does now. BA never corrected what has become a mistake!
The 8.30 is certainly a sleeper service.
There is a fast-track immigration queue which you can use provided that you are entering on a UK or EU passport.
