About a year ago, I'm pretty sure I was told that it was possible to change the route of an A&M redemption (so long as it's within the same band), but not the travel class.

I had booked LHR-MUC in Y and wanted to change it to LHR-FRA in J. The re-route wasn't a problem but they said I couldn't upgrade to J.
