Awesome. I was about to add that same benefit, but it seems that I've been beaten to the punch.
Overall, it seems that other OW airlines (and even non-OW airlines, like AS) tend to recognize the status (Emerald/Sapphire) of not-their-fliers better than AA from what I've read here.

I wish this were true of seat selection. I believe AA let's OW Elites have exit row on AA flights. I can't do this as a Sapphire on BA flights.
What example do you have of the other OW airlines treating other partner elites flyers better than AA does (or do, if you are British)
