The OP is 50 SC's away from earning either 50,000 points, a partner gold card or valet parking vouchers. They are asking about reaching that to give his wife a partner gold card for when she travels on her on.
A partner gold card giving lounge access, priority, etc for someone who would travel without the main card holder at times would be very valuable and I think worth aiming for.
