Question Please critique my Thailand 10-night itinerary

Have spent the past few weeks combing this forum reading all of the amazing Thailand tips. My sig other and I are traveling to Thailand in late February, we're both 30 and have been to most of the rest of Asia, but this is our first visit to Thailand.

I've booked flights, and was hoping to get some feedback on my working draft itinerary. Any input is very much obliged.

February 19-21: JFK-->YVR-->HKG-->BKK

February 21-25: Bangkok. Stay at The Peninsula, tour temples, canal boat trip, trip to Ayutthaya, soak in city. Looking for other tour ideas (possibly Tong's train tour?)

February 25-28: BKK-->CNX. Chiang Mai. Stay at Four Seasons (or possibly The Chedi/now Anantara if management situation is under control). Elephant reserve, market hopping, eating as much as possible, some R&R time.

February 28-March 3: CNX-->BKK-->REP. Siem Reap. Stay at Park Hyatt. Angkor Wat one full day, second day dirt bike tour, explore Siem Reap.

March 3-4: REP-->BKK. Spend last night in author's suite at The Oriental. Spa time and last minute BKK sights.

March 4-5: BKK-->HKG-->YVR-->JFK

Risks: Burning season in Chiang Mai is a concern. Monitoring new wave of political protests (airfares are Alaska awards on Cathay, and therefore pretty flexible out of Hong Kong).

So that's what I've got so far. Obviously a lot of planning still to be done, but what do the experts here think of the overall idea?

Thanks!

EDIT: Typo-ed in thread title, 11 nights total!
