As noted above it depends upon the cancellation policy of the particular hotel. Those policies may be different during the year based upon special events or periods of high demand. Have you tried to make a new reservation to see what the cancellation policy might be? Have all four nights elapsed? Or did you discover this after the first night? Was your reservation an advance purchase rate?
