Might want to actually start with the specific property's FD manager or GM to see if they can lookup your reservation and see why it was charged, then escalate from there if needed.
Others may have better advice, but I've personally had good luck with frontline employees. Status helps, as does being a frequent guest at that particular property (as was the case with my friendly FD agent).
