When are you travelling? As I said in post #5 a few 747s don't have AVOD in Economy but most of them do. Don't believe what some LH call center staff tell you. They don't know what they are talking about.
In addition most 747s have FlyNet but none of the A380s do.
But for me the convenience of have the seatback pocket to put my slim laptop or iPod or headphones in is important, as is a movable arm rest, and privacy which you won't get in the exit row... I also want to store my laptop bag in front of me, which I can't... etc... Especially when there is AVOD, I prefer not having the exit row. I don't sleep on the flights anyways...
Thanks for the great info! Travelling the 2nd of December in less than a week. All of them have told me completely different and contradicting things. The last one I talked to said that they might open up some aisle seats before check in. I hate being stuck anywhere besides the aisle. On the ticket it says to come in at check-in and ask for an aisle seat. There has to be at least one aisle seat that will become available for me!
