However, they do keep some seats back for families and people who need them for whatever reason. Make sure you have access to your reservation on lufthansa.com and try online check-in 23 hours before departure. Alternatively I suggest you go to the airport early (if possible) and explain that you would like an aisle seat and see if they can assign you one.
Thanks for your advice. There are some Exit Row seats available. Are they worth the $90? I don't like the fact that I won't have storage space under the seat or in the seat back in front of me for my laptop, ipod, headphones, etc... Plus the proximity to the restroom, and of course the way the tray table/immovable armrest, etc... is set up. Unfortunately they said it's the only way they can "Guarantee an aisle seat." However, they said they will open some up as soon as the online check in begins?

As for WiFi, OMG, what about being offline for a bit? Just a tiny, little bit of our lives?

Now get off my lawn
Haha I just called them and they told me there will be NO AVOD in Economy on the 747-400s... This is contrary to what others have told me. Also they said that 1 in 8 of the Lufthansa flights have WiFi.

Yes I have my own laptop with 3 extra sheet batteries I have prepared just for this case ;-) Why did they switch back to the 747's from the A380's? Doesn't make much sense, the A380s were really renowned when they released that flight a couple years back. It's like they are going back in time or don't care about their SFO-FRA flight...
