I can't remember if they do it in domestic lounges too, but in NRT and HKG I recall that they make an announcement when a flight is boarding. Also, I would sometimes see agents running around the lounge to try to rush late passengers to their flights. I'm not sure if this is only intl or domestic too. You could try asking when you enter the lounge. You might also ask the gate agent. Eitherway, I would still frequently check the flight status just in case. I've had cases where I'm told we are delayed like 3hrs, then suddenly 30min into the delay they tell us to board and we are able to get out.
