I've not read all 7 pages so apologies if this has already been noted...

Unfortunately I think the only connection in most people's minds today is TWA Flight 800 --- fond memories of once great service will have faded considerably by now.

Better to leave the fond memories alone than to tarnish them with a horrible impersonation like PanAm #2 (wasn't there a PA #3 also?).
