Done a fair bit in LH E and UA E+ on TATL routes west coast to Germany.

E+ on UA is definitely much more room. I also find UA seats more comfortable.

Service and food on LH is much better.

Haven't flown LH 747 recently but they generally have fairly decent AVOD option and my most recent flight from US to Germany this summer did have paid wifi available though I didn't use it.

All UA 747s I've ever flown only had the overhead TVs so quite a miserable setup for long flights.
