Make sure you are clear with United. The dBlack status is Aeroplan and has nothing to do with your FF status on Air Canada. AC status is referred to Altitude. The points you earn are Aeroplan points. If you really flew 78,000 miles with AC or United then you are Altitude E75K, which is *gold. They would have sent the Altitude card to match. This is all United or any other airline will care about for a status match.
