I was not able to get it credited to our BE account. They were not experienced flyers, non-status on AA and I am 99% sure that they wouldn't even know what BE is.
that hasn't happened to us, so far as I know. Whenever I have applied for missing credit, BE has always (sometimes rather slowly) given us the points.
