A wonderful tin of sardines, with red oinion, salad cream, red wine vinegar in a Hovis sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Followed by walnuts and later some freshly roasted chestnuts.
I really love tinned sardines and really regret scoffing several tins I'd "laid down" and were around 12 years old. I've just bought 100 tins which I have stored and I'm determined to leave them alone.
