KE is direct ICN-YYZ. Have flown it a few times in bus. (Prestige Class) but not yet in F. Planes are 777-200 ERs, mostly new, some not-so-new. It's a 13-hour flight, so you don't really need the airborne shower the same way as if doing two hops on EK.

UA via ORD is less expensive for a reason - it takes a lot longer, and it's a pain. At ORD you arrive in terminal 5, clear customs, then have to take the train over to terminal 2 (AC) or terminal 1 (most UA) then re-clear security in order to continue on to YYZ. Then you get to do the customs run at YYZ all over again. Not bad if you have Nexus/GE ... and a pain in the butt if not. More importantly, you're going through ORD in winter - remember, it's among the most weather delay-prone airports in the US. Better to connect through SFO if you want this option. That is preferable to ORD for other reasons too.

Personally, I've become a big fan of the direct flight on KE. No muss, no fuss.
