Just returned from a golf weekend stay with spg moments.
The hotel has had a complete 9 months renovation and reopened mid Sept as SunshineStay mentioned.
I was upgraded to junior suite and was introduced to the group and hotel manager upon my arrival on Friday morning. The welcome was lovely and checkin was easy. All the staff made me very at home and confortable. There are many suites available , so off season I guess upgrades for gold and plat should come easier. The hotel attracts for a large German community, as most guests I met were Germans. The hotel, obviously has had a link with Arabella group and has had a long history with many regular German guests!
The property is nice and everything is catered for your golf stay, there are lockers for your bags and a golf shop in the hotel.It is truly a great place to stay if you want to play golf every day! Btw, it is a resort hotel!!
There are 3 great golf courses, all complimentary to hotel guests and driving range balls are also provided at any time. There is free shuttle services to the club houses and everything can be charges back to your rooms for restaurant or shop extras.
The spa is nice and well looked after. There are 4 swimming pools, one of which is indoors. The gym is in a little lodge outside.

From the airport, it took no more than 20 mins to get there and it's really easy to find.
Both restaurants are good but the tapas downstairs has a slight local feel to it : recommended!

All in all, perfect golf hotel... Will come back! Thank you SPG Moments!
