I am said silver to gold - I had the same problem upon check-in last night as I expected (boarding card printing as silver instead of gold), but thankfully a few taps later the agent had resolved.

Our A380 left from gate 64, and arrived in the same.

I spent the evening in The Wing opposite gate 2 which was fantastic - the cabanas are of a different planet!

The agent told me that 'BA use the Qantas lounge' - I thanked her but said I'd be visiting The Wing, cue a sly smile from her.... I guess they are briefed to direct to the Qantas business lounge?
