Just to explain why this actually isn't OT: the Airbus 380 are leaving from around gate 64, rather than the usual gate 5 or 6 or so. In other words at the furthest end of the building, at the end of the transit, whereas the 777 (and the occasional mercenary 747) is still at the gate near to the main building.

The Pier First lounge is currently closed for renovation, there is a First area roped off with the main Pier Business section complete with bouncer, which allows you to gloat at Silvers but apart from that it's not a patch even on the old provision. Therefore Golds and Firsts on A380 service either need to make do with roped off area very close to the gate, or The Bridge (not far away) or leave it at the last moment from The Wing. Or some combination thereunto.

Incidentally this has led to a new problem which has happen on both the HKG 380 services I've used in recent weeks: BA's lovely passengers don't half get confused with 2 services leaving for London within 30 minutes of each other. So just as the A380 doors close, word comes that passenger X has actually presented themselves to the other service at the other end of the building. When both services left close to each other the ground staff would smile graciously and point X to the gate next door. Now the distance is too far to be do-able, and so the bags have to come off......
I thought the BA a380 parks at gate 18?
