Having done Milan as well, this Christmas we are taking trains from there to Verona, Bologna and then down to Florence where we are renting an apartment. Day trips from there to Siena and maybe Assisi.

With yesterday's score of $127pp back to Milan, we're looking at Ryanair and Easyjet to hop over and see Prague and/or Budapest and/or Berlin and/or . . .
