Living in Tokyo I don't find the bakery very impressive. There are so many excellent options in the city. I even live close by (15 min walk), and would not be bothered to go there. It is good, but not really outstanding and for the price not really worth it. After a recommendation here I went specifically to try the tarte tartin. I was underwhelmed to say the least.
Agreed that it doesn't even warrant discussion as the best bakery in Tokyo. It's not even the best bakery in the Roppongi Hills complex, with LA BOUTIQUE de Joël Robuchon a mere two minute walk away (though the Marunouchi Brick Square branch offers a much nicer atmosphere)
