opodo, the TA in question, will reveal the booking class during the process - and blindly accepting the terms and conditions (incl. change and cancellation penalties) isn't a good idea either in any case. R and N (both not eligable for earning miles) are rare on int'l tickets.
If the fare "looks the same", why not book on csair.com?
3 weeks ago, spent 10-15 hours trying to book on CSAIR.COM and their various regional sites with various credit cards (AMEX,VISA..)
Just forget it - They won't process any non chinese credit cards and the painful part is that you discover it at the very end of the booking process, whenever you connect to their payment platform...
You need then to reintroduce each time all flight / passenger info (incl all passport/visa info)
Called their hotline (be patient) and they won't neither process any foreign credit cards through the phone...
They lost 5000 $ of revenues and I end up booking ticket on another airlines..
