Yeah, like for instance, instead of having dinner at the Oak door, I would go to Ebisu and have lunch at the chateau . But that said, I am way more daring in trying new sushi places, than I am eating western food in Tokyo.
Yeah, I realize he is the sous chef, but he's a super nice guy and enjoyable to talk to. Loves to educate you on sushi and the likes. Agreed that the company is the most important - always!! Can make up for everything else!

Um, my friend, even lunch at Robuchon's chateau in Ebisu is going to be far more expensive that a few dishes at Oak Door!! But I salute your fantastic taste!!
