Even mjm, the resident burger expert in Roppongi, I _believe_ likes the Oak Door burger. It is pricey but it's damn good.

Interesting, I actually prefer the RH location of Jiro where the chefs speak English and it seems less rushed and snobby, but agreed, dining in front of the ACTUAL Jiro was a great experience.

And, you are 100% spot on, I am comfortable with "my places" too and tend not to venture too far. It's a handicap actually since TYO has many of the best restaurants in the world!
