They earn 25% AM, but no club miles - thus not that attractive to the general FT crowd. Plus as with all Fanfares, the dates are (usually) horrible. I remember the Maldives one was like travel for November (as in like this week or something.) JFK dates were alright - just before CNY...but it's pretty cold there during that period

Not sure what you meant by all sold out before it became known but I heard there was a huge glitch with CX's website that day again (surprise surprise) and caused quite a bit of upset customers and people whining.
