Tech said the the handle needed to be replaced and it might take a few weeks to get the part. I checked back at 4 weeks and 6 weeks and was told that the handle was on back order. I contacted Travelpro myself and was told that the part was on back order and they couldn't say when the part would be available.
????? A lifetime warranty if useless if parts are not available. I have always owned a travelpro bag but this is making me rethink my loyalty. Does anyone have suggestions on how/where to get my handle repaired or replaced?

..........I deleted my prior comment due to response from TravelPro - I am having the same delay issue as well as being told by the repair center that this was not covered by Warranty. I pushed back since the bag is 7 months old and the whole handle came off when I retracted the handle at the TSA inspection. ........
TravelPro replied back on my email that I sent regarding warranty coverage of the handle. The Repair Manager wants to make good on the issue and has offered to repair at no cost. I still think there is a backorder on the part, but will find out soon.
I will post my experience once I drop it off at the Repair Center
