Took off from EWR headed to LAX. Heard a loud bang shortly after takeoff. Seems the engine surged and we turned around after about 10 mins. Unbelievably they had another 757 with lie flats avail. Arrived 2.5 hours late into LA. Got a nice email apologizing about the emergency landing and I choose 12500 miles.
