Mother House and the Victoria Memorial are obvious tourist destinations, but Howrah station and the ferry across the river, as well as the market behind the Oberoi were some of the highlights of the short visit. Xyzzy and I never made it to Marble Palace (we only managed to see it through the fence) but getting lost on the way there was part of the fun. We did manage to get back to the Oberoi by the metro.
