Oliver2002's suggestions are good. Mother House was interesting, but we never made it across the street to the nearby church. I really liked the Victoria Memorial. The ferry trip to the train station was also quite interesting. The market behind the Oberoi Grand was also quite good.
Oh - and I was not made to go. I went entirely willingly and had a great time visiting K
