I did a small transfer from MR -> DL some months back and was charged $7.20 as an Airline Tax Offset Fee.

Somewhat mysteriously, this fee has been refunded against my account, without any explanation from Amex and without my having asked for a refund!

Not saying no to free money but just curious if this has happened to anyone else?
