A service charge without any explanation is simply a money grab by the property and deception to customers doing pricing searches. This was done by the airlines until mandated to quote the total price during searches.

Bogus fees like service charges and resort fees should not be allowed. If the room costs $100, bill it as $100, not $90 & $10.
