I did search again for award travel and it looks like your right, it will cost me a total of 100,000, which currently it cost me 50,000.

Is this my only option or my best option?

The paid flights are "S" and "V" fare class.
Right now it is your only option; however, it's not a very good option IMHO. 100K miles for a domestic round trip is just not worth it. That's the same price for a round-trip on United (and for now any partner) in saver C to Europe. In fact, you could do a future PS flight AND a European flight in business for that price.

If I pull out the magic 8-ball, I would say the following. January is traditionally a slow travel time. Your outbound at least looks quite wide open in business P=9 is a good sign, so there is a good chance of R opening up between now and then. In fact, booking a standard award in business now would actually marginally lower the chances of R opening up since one business seat would already be taken. So for now, just wait. If R opens up, grab it and you're an even exchange with your standard coach award. If not and you still really want business, then you can always pony it up as long as J > 0.
