some of you dispensing unpleasant snark and unfriendly admonishments come across as wannabe moderators. i propose the time has come for those in that category to either 1) knock it off or 2) take that elsewhere and start a site where that's appreciated (good luck with that). But at least in your own kingdom you can roam unhindered with your snark guns; you'll be large and in charge. I'd prefer 1) but if you won't bite your tongue and behave in friendly(attempted) polite / welcoming ways, by all means let's go with 2).

to those who say "we were here first, it's time for YOU to leave if you don't like our p-poor attitude", I would submit that is the whole problem that prompted this poll. People ARE leaving, and LONG before they get post counts 10% as large as yours. They ARE complaining about the AA forum. 70 plus percent of the responses in this poll. ENOUGH. The majority don't appreciate you pretending to be moderators' assistants and self pronounced arbiters of proper posts and deciding who deserves snark, and all the great examples of "see, it worked, you ought to thank me for it." Some of you are absolutely amazing. Get some manners, PLEASE.
