Just got approved for the Amex Hilton card with an email saying "you can begin managing your account now by registering for online access."

Yet, when I click on the link to do so and login to my existing account, it says "All applications associated with this User ID have already been registered for online access and can be viewed here. Please create a new User ID if you wish to enroll another Card."

It seems to suggest each card needs a separate account. Is that right?! I did check my existing account (it has one card - SPG) and the new card doesn't appear yet.
