I've supported sxc's heroic efforts to improve the tone around here, and I think it's starting to work. I also think some people often far too hard on first-time posters -- the ones who have just joined FT and are making their first post with a repetitive question. But the OP on this thread has been an FT member for six years and has a higher post count than I do (and one of those silly "mucci" things they hand out to enhance the clannish feeling on the BA board) and probably does deserve to get scored a bit for not having tried harder at self-help first...
