Data point:
I mistakenly applied for Select Plat Visa with the 40k offer instead of 50k (used the link from the old FT thread). Instantly approved on 11/14. Received the card yesterday and sent a SM asking to match the 50k offer. They responded that added 10k bonus to my account; will show on first statement.
