I'd like more wisdom on this issue too....
I have a one-way flight with spouse and child and I have the three of us in an Exit Row. If I were to getting upgraded via CPU I would, of course, give the upgraded seat to spouse, but am not terribly interested in having the other two seats (spouse and child have no status) kicked back to E-
So, is the current wisdom not to allow the PNR-splitting in such situations?
