Let me also suggest that you get to know the forum before you start pushing against the forum regulars like this.

There are people on here, including some you have quoted and responded to, who are:

-extremely experienced in the AS program, including MVP Gold 75Ks and Million Milers
-people who have earned and redeemed a million or more miles on all kinds of tickets, including partner tickets
-people who have been on FlyerTalk for the better part of (or more than) a decade and who have spent several hours a day pretty deeply analyzing just about every facet of the Mileage Plan program
-and people who work--some at fairly high levels--for Alaska Airlines and so are in a pretty good position to tell you how the program works.

I suggest you sit back, relax, and do some reading before jumping in with a "know-it-all" attitude here. I promise you, you'll learn a lot, and others will respect you much more for it.

The above friendly advice said, there have been some pretty snarky comments posted in this thread recently. I've deleted those comments and have edited the thread. I would encourage those whose comments have been edited or removed to review the FlyerTalk Rules, specifically the ones about personal attacks, before continuing to post here and in other threads.

We generally do a pretty good job of debating respectfully in the AS forum, and I'd like to keep us a model of decency on FlyerTalk. Thanks for helping with that.
