Isn't air ambulance normally for short trips to the health care facility? I think IAH-SNA on air ambulance is gonna cost a fortune out of pocket and health insurance wouldn't cover that itinerary because there are plenty of hospitals with competent doctors in Houston. No medical necessity to fly to the west coast.
