Trying to get to Tel Aviv from Sydney is a nightmare .

Yes El Al does sell tickets, with the SYD BKK or SYD HKG sectors on QF - but the transits are appalling

I have been known to fly into Southern Europe and take El Al from there.

I can remember from my travel agent days, that it was always difficult to get seats and a great deal of business was going in other directions, even Royal Jordanian
