Latest Assessment of US Global Services vs. AA Exec Plat

Hi All, I am hoping for some insight. I haven't flown UA for many years. I have managed to achieve Executive Platinum Status on AA for the past 4 or so years primarily through segments. My intention has always been to stay with AA. It's the system that I know, I am slowly working my way to lifetime status, and from a segment standpoint, qualifying for top tier status is MUCH more reasonable (100 segments vs. UA's 120).

Today my company just provided a number of employees Global Services status on UA. I have reviewed the benefits of this program but I am well aware that the actual experiences in the program are often vastly different than what is contained in the marketing materials.

Does anyone have recent experience comparing the benefits of EXP vs Global Services? Is GS exclusive and generous enough that someone in my position should consider a switch? I am based out of ORD and primarily fly short/mid haul flights (LGA, DCA, etc.). Thank you.
